The Bear!

It is freezing outside today. Yesterday was a little cold but today was nasty cold. Cold enough that the girls got out of school. Yesterday they didnt have school for some teacher thingy so they've had a four day weekend and loving it. I knew they weren't going to have school after listening to the weather reports last night plus it was 15 below around 9:30. Brrr! Last week was a typical busy week. Tuesday for mutual it was combined with the boys and we did car survival kits. We were in charge and it went really well. It was also Tags birthday so Jeremy took the girls over there for cake and icecream. Wednesday Jeremy left around 4 in the morning to head to Las Vegas with James to a glass show. The got to Vegas in about 9 hours. Not too bad! Jeremy said the show was huge and pretty good. Lots of neat stuff. He also said that Vegas has changed since we were there 8 years ago. We will not be taking the kids there that is for sure! Wednesday night they ate a $50 steak. I am sooo glad he didnt buy that. A lot of money for steak but Jeremy said it was good. It was a quick trip for them. They left Thursday to head to Provo so they could go pheasant hunting Friday. Friday the got up early and headed to Green River to shoot birds. They brought back 30 something pheasants and some chuckars. Of course while in Utah they had to stop at Cabelas. They ended up getting home around 11. I think Jeremy had fun even though it was quick and not a lot of sleep. As for us girls left at home freezing (Jeremy said it was 70 degrees there not fair!) we had a bit of fun. Thursday I took the girls to my volleyball game because it was the 7:00 one. Christa came over and watched them so I could play. Elayne didnt sleep good Wednesday night or Thursday so I was tired. She was up at midnight then fall back asleep both nights then again at around 3 and couldnt sleep. I brought her in bed with me and she tossed and turned and squirmed. Then the other girls woke up before 6 both mornings and were loud. Friday after Livvy got out of school we went to Rexburg to get some snacks for her basketball team for Saturday and a few other things. We came home and got Livvy ready for her basketball practice. Its usually on Wednesdays but moved it to Friday for some reason. After practice we went and got Christa and headed back to Rexburg to go watch Bolt. Luckily we got there early because it started at 6:50 instead of 7 like the paper said. It was a way cute movie. Elayne started not feeling good and slept on and off. A few times she would look up and say "Tia" for the dog and cat. Kinda funny. I would definatly recommend seeing it. It was good. We ended up going to Craigos to eat after the movie. It was really good and I was stuffed. All the kids zonked out on the benches. We ended up leaving there after 10:30. It was fun. Christa and I decided that we are going to have to do it more often when the guys are gone. The guys ended up getting to James and Christas a little after we did. It was definatly a late but fun night. Saturday Livvy had basketball. She had to be there at 8:20 for pictures and her game was at 9. Her team is doing really well and Livvy has improved. Shes got this little girl on her team thats never played and couldnt hardly hit the net. Friday she finally made a basket and after that she made a bunch. It was neat to see how excited she was. She looked like she was finally enjoying playing. After the game the girls helped me clean birds. Dont know why he shoots them and I have to clean them. Thankfully all the feathers are off. He'd be cleaning them if that was the case! The girls set up a line and we got them done pretty quick. I'd hand them to Alex who would give them to Livvy to wrap and Livvy would put them in a bag Chantea was holding. They enjoyed it. They are wierd! They were playing funeral. I was just laughing. Then Livvy was wrapping pheasant presents. =P At 5 we had Tags bowling party. Its been awhile since we've bowled and the kids have never done it. It was fun. Livvy got a couple of strikes and was pretty excited. Chantea got a few spares. Alex and Chanteas balls would take forever to get down the floor. They had a blast. We will have to go bowling again thats for sure. Sunday I had a meeting so Jeremy had to get the kids to church. He forgot the diaper bag and had to go back home and get it. Sunday night we ate some of the pheasant that Jeremy shot. It wasnt too bad. Monday like I said earlier the kids had no school. I had to go into work and get paychecks done then we headed to Idaho Falls to get some stuff. We had to go to Petco and get a tag for Jazmine. Of course that takes longer because we have to look at all the animals in there. Elayne called them all "Tias". We heard Tia all through the store. We then went to Micheals and Toys R Us. The toy store takes a long time too but we didnt do too awfully bad. We had to find a birthday present for Kambri who will be turning 6 on February 8th. The girls found her a My Little Pony playset for $4.98 that was regularly $20 something and a little pony to go with for $2.98. Not bad! We went to JcPennys to look for some shirts for Jeremy but all they had was preppy button up ones and pink or baby blue. I'm sure he would have loved them but I restrained myself from getting them. =) I did find me a dress finally so it wasnt a wasted trip. It seemed like a long day. Shopping wears me out. Last night Jeremy brought his bear home. It was funny. He texted me and told me to have the kids answer the door. He rang it and Alex opens it then comes over to me with her eyes big. I ask her who it is and she says its scary. I go over with her and Jeremy is kneeling on the steps with the bear rug on him. It turned out really good and took awhile to get done. It was shot back in May. Chantea didnt particularly care for it. Alex kept petting it. Elayne went to touch it and I've never seen her jerk her arm back so fast. She just wasnt sure about that "Tia". Jeremy is going to hang it at the shop because there is no room in the house. I'm kinda glad after last night. He had it laying on the back of the couch and everytime I got up with Elayne (who was once again not feeling well) it was staring at me. It was kinda creepy. It gave Jeremy a bit of a suprise when he got home from his game. I think Jeremy is pretty proud of it. I had to get pictures of the kids getting ate by it. Its a good looking bear. Today we are just staying inside and keeping warm. I went out to feed the horses and that was enough for me. I have mutual tonight so I will have to go out in the nasty cold again. Well I that is all for now. I'm going to make sure kids have there mess picked up so they can paint.

Elaynes Birthday!

Elayne turned one on the 14th. Hard to believe she's not a little baby any more. The day was busy. Well I should say the evening. Livvy was so excited for her birthday that she woke up after 5. =P My parents stopped by and gave Elayne her presents. Elayne would just lay on the floor staring at them. I have no idea what her problem was there. She got two cute shirts and a pair of pants. My dad even picked her out one of the shirts which is shocking. hehe! At 5 was Livvys basketball practice so we had to go there and got back around 6. Jeremy had to ref a church basketball game at 7 and played at 8 so we hurried and opened presents and blew out the candle on her cake. Elayne got a big horse that she loves. She goes over and pets it and gives it lovings. She likes to bounce on it. She also go a little barn with some activities on it from her sisters, bath toys, sippys, clothes, shoes, and a inch worm ride on toy (I found it for really cheap at Christmas so had to get it!). Bairs got her a little stuffed walrus and a remote control lamb that she likes making it move. She loved making a mess with her cake and getting to dig in. The girls wanted me to make her a kitty cake because she loves kittys and walks around the house calling Tia (my cat). She calls everything Tia. I think she had a pretty good birthday even though it was a little crazy. She kinda got the unwrapping the presents part taken care of (or standing on them). James and Christa came over Friday and brought her present. They gave her a tutu and a pink car. Now she can dress up and dance around with her sisters.

Chantea

It has been a long while since I've done this so I decided I better get it done.
Chantea
Birthday is October 10 and is 3 years old.
Her favorite colors are blue and yellow. (She wants her bedroom yellow)
Her favorite foods are pancakes and pizza.
She likes to color, baths, play outside, paint, jump on the trampoline, ride the bouncy horse (and real ones!), four wheeler rides, EAT (she is always hungry), and lots of other things. She is a character that is for sure. This summer she was into imaginary animals. She had princess horses (those are what she calls all white ones) and dolphins. We were at the store and I was getting her out of her carseat and we had to put her "dolphins" in her seat because they couldnt come in the store. We were in there for almost an hour and I was putting her back in her seat and she started throwing a fit. I had put her on her dolphins. I had to lift her up and "grab" them out from under her. All was good after that. We wont go into the anacondas. Thankfully that passed quickly. Chantea is our little blondie, blue eyed girl. Dont know where that came from but Elayne ended up blond with blue eyes also. Chantea is our shy one. It takes her awhile to warm up to people. We had a heck of a time getting her into nursery because they kept changing leaders. She'd do good then they'd change and it was a fight all over again. Now she wont go into Sunbeams. The first week she cried but was fine once she got into class. Last week they finally brought her to us and I went down with her until Young Womens. She wouldnt stay. She loves to play with her sisters and wants to do everything they are doing. She has to tell us all that she is big. She is already excited for kindergarten. Its not going to be fun having to wait two years. Chantea is a sweet girl. She likes keeping Elayne entertained and being a helper. Lately she's been a little tag-a-long and I keep stepping on her. Every time I turn around shes there. She is a blessing to us and we love her. She definatly keeps us entertained!

Busy!

The title basically says it all. Jeremy walks in from work and I leave or he walks in from work just to leave again it seems. I dont see it slowing down anytime soon either. It will be better after basketball season but thats not until March. I dont like it too much but right now theres not much we can do about it. I think I'll start from the first of the week and go down. Tuesday I had mutual and we just had a planning meeting. We are set for the next couple of months which is good. Jeremy had basketball on Wednesday. Like usual I dont know how he did because he wont say much. Thursday I worked until after 2. I also picked up paint for the bathroom and closet. At 5 Livvy had her first basketball practice. It was supposed to be at Wilford church but her coach Paul Hathaway didnt schedual it and it was full. We ended up going to Hathaway Trailers and practicing there because he's got a hoop set up in the back. We ended up not getting done with that until 6:15. We hurried home so I could get supper and get ready for volleyball at 7. Volleyball was okay. Would have been better if the one gal on our team would keep her mouth zipped. She's one of those negative people that can't say anything nice. One of these nights she's going to get a ball in her mouth. =) Mean yes but we can't get a team out because she's offended most of them. We've got some less active people that I'd like to invite but dont dare because I dont want them to get railed on. We basically all suck and she's a pro. hehe! Friday we were actually all home. Jeremy worked on the closet but the mud was taking awhile to dry. Saturday Livvy had her first game and did great. She made quite a few baskets. She really enjoys it. We came home from that and Jeremy painted the closet. It looks good. At 1 I had a Scentsy party at Corinas. Not many showed up but it wasnt bad. We ate and talked and smelled the scents. I ended up getting another burner for my room. The one in the living room makes everything but downstairs smell. I really like them. If anyone is interested in Scentsy let me know and I can hook you up. My sisterinlaw Christa sells them. It was after 3:30 by the time me and the girls left there and went to Rexburg to get some stuff. Jeremy ended up going bunny hunting with his dad around that time and didnt get back until after 10. Rexburg is awful at that time so we hurried and got out and came home to find some supper and get baths done for the next day. Sunday I met with my leaders to get stuff worked out then had a meeting with the bishopric at 8:30. Chantea is having a hard time in Sunbeams. She doesnt do well with teacher change. She ended up going to Young Womens with me. We were boring I guess and she fell asleep. I got a new teacher so now I get out of teaching. The other one if she accepts should be put in next week. Thats a relief! I kinda got skunked on my teachers. The one I knew wouldnt be in long and the other wouldnt show up. Bishop couldnt even get a hold of her. hehe! I hope the new ones work out. I think they will. This coming week is busy every night. Monday Jeremy has Ririe basketball and I have to go in to work in the morning to do payroll. Tuesday I have mutual and have to go get groceries. Wednesday is Elaynes birthday! I can't believe shes going to be one. That means making a cake and I may have grandparents over for cake and icecream. Jeremy has a church basketball game that night at 8 and Livvy has practice at 5. Thursday I have work in the morning and volleyball at 8:30 and 9 (I think!). So far Friday is free. So we are definatly crazy busy. No wonder I've been having chest pains again! I hope everyone is good and I am off to fix supper. By the way the picture of the little boy is my nephew Tayson, Kirby and Jennies son. Just had to show him off.

Christmas Update

I am so glad the holidays are over. It was just a wierd year. I didnt get to really sit back and enjoy them like normal. It came and went so quickly it seems. Christmas Eve we usually have the LeCheminant party but it got canceled because Kerma was in the hospital again. She got life flighted down Sunday the 21st. We decided to wait on the party until she got out. We dropped off my parents presents and picked up the gifts from them. Then we drove around looking at Christmas lights. The kids were tired accept for Chantea and wanted to go home and go to bed. Livvy got into bed and forgot to throw the reindeer food out so I had to do that. Christmas Livvy was awake a little after 5. She got on Elaynes moniter and said "Mom, Dad are you awake? Its Christmas!" It was cute. The rest of the kids were asleep so Livvy had to wait for a little while. They were pretty excited when they got downstairs. Chantea was the best when she opened up her Tumbles dog. She has been wanting it for months. Alex was pretty excited about her doll that sits on the potty and Jeremy got the girls a DS to share so Livvy was pretty happy about that and her guitar. I made out pretty good. Jeremy made me two nightstands and got me a log bed and new matresses. It is really nice. I got lots of good stuff. Jeremy spoils me. I got Jeremy a 300 Winchester short mag. Now he has no excuse for not getting an elk this year. =) It was a good Christmas. We just took it easy all day. Friday we went to Utah to see Darwin and Kerma. My parents watched the girls except for Elayne. We stayed at the hospital until supper then left to get a room and ate at Red Robin. The next morning we went back up to the hospital. We were planning on leaving that afternoon but Kerma wasnt doing well. She was starting to hurt again and we decided to stay. Sunday when we got there she was up and sitting on her bed and looked totally different. She got the pain under control and was doing good. The doctor took her staples out and told her if all was well she could go home on Monday. Monday was a nutty day. I went into work and did paychecks and statements then hurried home to get ready to go to a cabin at Badger Creek with the Young Women and Young Men. We left around 11:30. We got there and had to hike up to the cabin which wasnt the best thing I've done. I had Elayne, diaper bag, sleeping bag and a bag. It was some what uphill which made it even better. =P We got set up and waited around for the guy to turn the tow rope on so we could go sledding. By the time he got it on the wind was getting nasty. I took Elayne down once and she loved it. I think she liked going up the rope more though. I went down a few times with the Young Women but the hill wasnt slick because we were the first ones on it since it snowed last. After supper we talked and played games. Lights out was 10:30 but of course that didnt happen. It was after 2 before I got into bed and then kept waking up. Elayne woke up a little after 6 so I decided to get dressed and find something to entertian her so everyone could sleep. The bathroom was outside which was fun. You had to walk around the cabin to get to it. Tuesday was a nice day out. The sled hill was great. It was slick and so you got some good speed and there were a few bumps. Elayne fell asleep so I got to do a bit of sledding. I did crash a few times but it was a blast. I hurt the next day! We were supposed to leave around 1:00 but the Young Mens leaders truck wouldnt start. After a half hour I left because two of the girls had to be home for work and basketball. By the time I got home I was worn out. The girls stayed at Christas both days and Jeremy had them Monday night. She took them to Marley and Me with her mom and they had fun. Jeremy had a basketball game that night and so they got to see him play. Wednesday at 8:00 I had a dentist appointment to get my wisdom teeth out. I was done in 45 minutes. It was really quick and didnt hurt too bad. There was a dull ache but that was it. It just felt weird and I couldnt open my mouth much or eat. Drinking was even weird. I ended up going to Rexburg to get work supplies at Walmart and Livvy a new guitar string and some books at Chesbro. I found Twilight piano music and picked it up. =) I told the girls if they were good we'd get a milkshake at Dairy Queen. We picked some up for Jeremy, James and Josh because they were working at Sugar on the junior high and figured they would like some. That night I had to go to the New Years Eve dance. I didnt get home until after1:00. There was a good turn out. I think the youth enjoyed it. I served rootbeer and checked the food all night. Thursday I dont remember what went on. Must of been too tired. Friday we had the LeCheminant Christmas party at 12. We had sandwhiches and opened presents. The girls had fun. After the party we came home and Jeremy worked on our bedroom. Today that is what he's been doing. I can't wait to get the bathroom done. It will be nice. Next week Livvy and Alex go back to school and life hopefully will calm down a bit. I feel like I'm going crazy. I've been on the go continually and I dont like that. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year and will talk to ya soon!
