Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving even though its a day late. I decided its time for an update. Kinda slacking on my weekly. I've been trying to do it on Sunday afternoon but last Sunday was busy with church stuff. First off I am waiting to hear back from Jeremy to see whats going on with his mom. She had to go to the hospital again because she was really hurting. They did x-rays and couldnt see anything so they are flying her out to Salt Lake once again. Right now they are waiting for the plane to get there. Shes been bleeding again and we are afraid its her small intestine. So I will update on how she is doing when I hear more. Now for how Thanksgiving went. We went to Jeremys family thingy. Its his moms side and they do it at the church because theres usually a lot of people. The food was good of course and we ate way too much. The kids had fun playing ball and they did a few games with prizes. Livvy thought that was pretty fun. She went around to everyone and asked what there favorite Thanksgiving food was and she got a present. It was a purse and she loves it. Alex was the first to win on Bingo and got a box of chocolate orange mints and then she got a prize for an egg carton race thingy. It turned out pretty good. There was a good turn out of people. Today my mom and I went to Rexburg and did the early sales. We weren't planning on going but Jeremy was looking through the ads and found some stuff. He's like if your going to Rexburg you can get this and that. hehe! So we went! We went to Big 5 first and it was nice and then had an 1 1/2 wait for Aces to open so we went to Walmart. That was dumb! It was stinkin nuts in there. There was no carts and just people every where. Its the busiest we've ever seen it on that day. That is why we quit doing the early morning sales. Too many people! Aces was nice and we got in and out quick. Cal Ranch and Porters was the same. We got back a little after 8 and got everything we wanted. Jeremy has been putting new doors in all day. They look nice. The front door is pretty. I will have to get pictures. Now since the last time I updated if I can remember everything. On the 20th Corina, Christa and I went and seen Twilight. It wasnt bad. I need to watch it again. 12:30 at night is too late for a movie. I'm used to bed at 9. It actually was later then that because they had some difficulties so it was about 1 by the time they got it going. It was fun though. We ate at IHop before and got some girl time in. The 22nd I got most of my Christmas shopping done. I still got some of Jeremys and little things but the majority is done with. Jeremy worked on fencing off the shed so the horses can't get into the hay. It turned out really good. Looks tons better then what it did and the horses haven't found a way into it yet. Jeremy put new boards and then put chicken wire up. Theres also a line of barbed wire on the top. The 23rd I had a meeting at 8 then at 4:30 a teen pregnancy thingy and at 6:00 Youth Fireside that lasted until 7:30. Jeremy is loving all the babysitting. =) The 25th Jeremy had a basketball game in Ririe. He never tells me how they go. He just says "I suck" or something like that. I miss not being able to go see him but its too late for a school night. The 26th I went to Idaho Falls to drop my camera off. It has a short and the warranty is almost up. Its going to take 4 to 6 weeks. Not happy! We went to Toys R Us and the girls got to pick gifts for each other and for the names they have. Jeremys family draws names for Christmas. The kids love finding the gifts. I let the girls draw names for each other also. That night we went out to Gringos with my parents. Gringos is always good. I've been working on deer jerky this week. My house stinks. I hate it when I first put it in. After awhile you get used to it and its not as strong. I think it turned out really good tasting. I've got to get the rest cut up and done in the next few days. Its just a time consuming project. Tomorrow I have no idea whats going on. I'm sure Jeremy will be heading to Utah now. If Darwin flies out with Kerma then someone has to bring him a vehicale. I just hope it all goes well. Kermas been looking better and has gained a couple of pounds. She doesnt need anything else right now. Sunday I've got Young Women in Excellence. I have to do a table with some of my goals and accomplishments, a ten minute talk and a brief introduction of two of my ladies. Fun! =P Then Tuesday we get to Shop for Santa. The Young Women have been looking forward to that for weeks. We take them to Walmart (I guess!) and they have a paper with someone on it and get to choose a gift for them. Then we wrap them and the Young Men deliver at Christmas time. The bishop chooses people in the ward that are in need. It could be a family or just an individual. It should be fun. We dont know who they. So its all a suprise. I think I'm going to get ready for bed because 4:00 in the morning was too early for me. I will let everyone know how Kerma is doing when I find out. Keep her in your prayers!! By the way the picture are of a sunset and a full moon.

Alexandra

This week is Alexandra.
Her birthday is August 19th and she is 5 years old.
Her favorite colors are pink and purple.
She started kindergarten this year and is loving it so far.
Alex likes to dance, sing, color, draw, paint, play pretend, pester Chantea, play outside, ride four wheelers, and play with her sisters.
Alex is our stubborn one. She's a pretty good kid. She's quiet and content to do things by herself most of the time. Since she started school she likes to pick on Chantea and of course Chantea fights back. Its getting better though. Alex loves to dance. She wants to be a ballerina. She also wants to play basketball and soccer. All the kids like to dance but Alex is the one that leans more towards it. She is a smart kid. She scored high on her kindergarten tests and her teacher has to give her extra stuff to keep her from getting bored. When I was working with her last year on her workbook she'd just breeze through it. She loves to help cook. I have to let her put in all the ingrediants and then she keeps an eye on the timer for me. Alex is sensitive (thats the best word I can think of to describe her). She gets emotional over little things. We caught a mouse in a sticky trap Sunday and Jeremy took it out and killed it. I came up the stairs and she was saying how we should have let it go. We told her why we couldnt (it was stuck!) and we dont want it coming back in. She said we could have put it in a cage and kept it outside. I think she gets that from me. She will be the bringer homer of strays. Alex is a sweetheart. Out of the blue she'll just tell you she loves you. At night she has to have her purple baby to sleep with. She rarely plays with it but she has to have it to sleep with. She was so excited to bring it for show and tell on purple day. We are pretty proud of Alex and love her tons!

First Deer

Before I get into the week events I have to tell about Friday. We decided to go out hunting in the morning with the kids. Basically just drive around and see if we could find anything then go out later when my mom could watch kids for a few hours. We were driving along and Jeremy spotted a deer so we jumped out. I'm trying to get my gun loaded (I'm slow!) and I hear him yell its a buck. I shoot at it and see snow and dirt fly up behind it so I thought I missed. He took off but didnt go far and stopped and got another shot off and he dropped. Jeremy figures he was shot from about 70 yards and he was up a little hill. We got up to him and I had shot him the first time in the neck. I was pretty excited! Still am. Hes a 3x2 but not a bad deer. Not bad for my first one anyways. Now I get to work on making jerky. Now for the rest of the week! Tuesday I had my first night of mutual. The girls are great. I think it will be fun once I can get in the swing of things and figure out what I am doing. Wednesday Jeremy had a dentist appointment in the morning because his tooth was hurting and the had to adjust it. Another started bugging him so he had to go back in. Better then a cavity. I had a dentist appointment at 3:30. I thought it was supposed to be Thursday but I wrote it down wrong. I'm sooo glad they call the day before to remind you. I had to get a root canal done. I was in there until 5:30. =P I had Parent/Teacher Conferance that night and missed Livvys and was late for Alexs. I hurried and hit Alexs and got lucky and Livvys teacher had a break so I got to meet with her after all. Just crazy! The girls are doing great in school. Alex is beyond what the other kids are so her teacher lets her do a program thingy on the computer while the other kids are working. She just breezes through her stuff and her teacher doesnt want her to get bored. The only problem she has is cutting. Alex is left handed and can't cut with right handed scissors. She cuts really well for how she does it but she cuts wierd. Her teacher is going to order some scissors for her and that way it will be easier for her. I've looked for some but can't find any. Livvy is also doing very well. Her teacher said that when she has a sub she tells them to ask Olivia if they need help because she knows what shes talking about but dont ask this kid because they think they know what there talking about but dont. Kinda funny. Livvy is reading at 4th grade level and understands 94% of what she's reading. She is also ahead of her class. I hope they can continue to do well in school. I'm pretty proud of them. =) Thursday Alex didnt have school and Livvy a half day. They got to play outside and was very happy. Its been rainy and cold and they dont like being cooped up in the house. Friday we were gone all day. After hunting I helped Jeremy with the deer and then went over to my parents to see my moms new puppy. Its pretty cute. Its pomeranian, terrier and chiuahua mix. She is so teeny. She fits in your hand. The girls had to maul it for awhile. That night we went out to dinner with my parents to the Stockman. Dad went with Grandpa and Grandma Orme a few days ago and said it was good so we thought we'd try it. I enjoyed it. The steak was cooked just right and juicy. Kinda spendy but the food was pretty good. Today Jeremy is off hunting. Its the last day so I hope someone can get one. I'm sure he will be home late tonight. The girls and I went to Rexburg with my mom and got stuff then came back to sign Livvy up for basketball next month and pick up my stuff from a Relief Society activity. I got some really cute tole painting projects to do now. I'm still working on last years projects. =) Gotta have something lying around waiting to be done. Like 95% of my projects. One of these days they will get done. Just hard to find time to do them when I've got work to do. I think I got everything thats happened. Kinda busy week but I'm afraid its going to get worse with the holidays coming up. Jeremy starts basketball next week in Rire. We miss most of the games because there late and dont want the kids up on a school night. Kinda stinks. Its fun to watch. So we wil have one more thing to add to our evenings. Sorry we dont have any pictures of my deer in color. Camera got bumped onto a different setting and didnt notice. They look kinda neat in black and white though.

Olivia

Ok I decided to do an update on all of us. I thought it might be kinda nice to learn a little bit about each of us.
Olivia
Birthday is July 29th and is 7 years old
Her favorite colors (they change all the time) are basically purple and pink
She is in 2nd grade
She loves to read, color, paint, play outside, ride on the four wheeler, dance, sing, and play with her toys.
She is a very sweet girl. She's a pretty good helper most of the time. She is always watching out for her three little sisters. She likes reading to Chantea and taking care of Elayne. She likes to dress up and dance around the house singing or pretending to be princesses, dragons, or whatever she can think of. Her big thing lately is training the dog. She'll get the hula hoop and make her run through it. She is doing good in school and for the most part enjoys it. She likes playing basketball and baseball and were on teams this year. She's getting excited for basketball to start up again. When she grows up she wants to rodeo and maybe be a vet. Livvy is just a great kid! We love her tons!

The Fun Begins!

This has been a fun week. We've all been sick. Well most of us. Chantea hasnt been hit and hopefully doesnt. Alexandra got sick Wednesday night and threw up a couple of times and so she stayed home from school Thursday. I got a call at work from Livvy saying her tummy hurt so I had to get her from school. Livvy had it a couple of weeks ago so I was hoping she was done with it. Nope! She threw up Friday night once. Elayne threw up in her crib sometime in the night two nights in a row but other then that was fine during the day. Shes been kinda grumpy today but that could be her tooth finishing coming in. Who knows with babies! I've got a cold and had it since Tuesday and my stomach has been tossy turvy. Jeremy stayed home from church today with a sick stomach. Too much hunting probably is his problem. =) Maybe we will be good the rest of the sick season and not get it again. Today I got put in to my calling and so all the fun begins. I will not be home any Sunday mornings or evenings. Actually mornings I am going to have to have my counselors take turns on meetings. Bishop said that was ok. The 23rd I have a fireside and the 30th is Young Women in Excellence. Tuesdays is mutual. Tonight I have a meeting and next Sunday after church a quick meeting to discuss Baptisms for the Dead next month. I am going to be very busy but I've got a good group to work with. There isnt very many girls and alot of them are inactive but come to mutual. It will be fun once I know what I'm doing. Right now I feel like I'm tossed into a lake and drowning. =) I just hope I can do a good job. Next week is Parent Teachers Conference. Alex has no school thursday and friday and half day on wednesday. Livvy has half days on wednesday and thursday and no school friday. I have to meet with teacher wednesday night. I have a dentist appointment on thursday to get a root canal done. Soooo not looking forward to that! Friday Jeremy wanted to take me out hunting since my hunt ends the 17th. We need some snow though. We went out friday and seen nothing. Its supposed to be doing that this week. So far we've seen rain. I dont really want the snow but we need it. This week is kinda busy so I will let everyone know how it goes. Hopefully we are all feeling better!

I am finally getting the pictures from Halloween up. Yesterday I was busy cleaning and doing that kinda stuff and didnt get it done. The kids had a blast. The Trunk or Treat wasnt as big as in the past but much easier then walking all over the neighborhood. They did a few games in the church and had donuts and apple juice. After that was over we took the kids to James and Christas then walked with them and Tag and Corina to Christas parents place. We decided to walk around the block and hit Christas grandmas place and the houses on the way. The girls got more candy then they'll eat. Heck they usually dont eat much of it and I send it to work after sitting there for months. Yesterday Jeremy once again went hunting and once again they got nothing. He almost hit an elk on the way home. Not quite the right way to get one. I'm sure they will be gone next Saturday to try once again. Today is a typical Sunday. Church, come home and snack and take a nap. We've got Grandpa Ormes party tonight. Happy Birthday Grandpa! We love you!
